The Shetland Young Fiddler of the Year competition starts in the Garrison Theatre today (Frid 22nd April), featuring 92 entrants competing in a range of categories over the two day event. The adjudicators are Aly Bain, Gemma Donald and Bryan Gear.

The event culminates with a concert and prize-giving ceremony on Saturday evening starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the Saturday evening event are £6/4. Entrance to the Friday and Saturday competition events are free.
