Neil Georgeson: Wanderer

Local musician Neil Georgeson returns to Shetland with a new piano recital, a hugely varied programme entitled "Wanderer".

The concert takes as its theme the idea of wandering, journeys, travelling, from the travelling musician to the pilgrim or the refugee, thinking about the reasons why we travel.

King Creosote - Any Storm in a Teacup

King Creosote is an independent singer-songwriter from Fife, Scotland. Combining modern electronic equipment with traditional, his music remains uniquely Scottish, but with completely universal sentiments.

Following on from the success of 2024's "Any Port in a Storm" tour, King Creosote's 2025's follow-up "Any Storm in a Teacup" promises a night of modular synth, I DES tracks and KC 'classics'.

Northern Trad Youth - Easter Intensive

Join us for Northern Trad Youth, a fantastic three-day traditional youth music gathering, led by Shetland fiddler Catriona Macdonald, founding member of Blazin' Fiddles, String Sisters and also the director for Newcastle University's innovative Folk degree programme.

Catriona will be joined by some exceptional guest tutors (to be announced soon), offering participants an unmissable learning experience and a lot of fun making music together.
