David Lemm is a visual artist based in Edinburgh. He graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee in 2006. David's research led practice responds to the experience of particular places, landscapes, objects and encountered phenomena. His outcomes manifest in a range of context specific media, often exploring visual communication devices and symbolic systems. He has presented solo exhibitions in Edinburgh and London and works across a range of activities including education and commissions. David has been awarded various residencies, including projects in Norway, London and Isle of Eigg. In 2017 he was selected as the Jon Schueler Scholarship Visual Artist in Residence at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Skye.
