SHETLAND Arts have announced the return of Singer Songwriter Nights, taking place in Mareel on a monthly basis.

Musicians of all abilities are encouraged to bring their instruments along and showcase their talent – beginners, dabblers and seasoned musicians alike. New and original music will be welcomed along with covers of classics and improvisations.

For those who would prefer not to take to the stage, the general public can enjoy an evening filled with great tunes and even better company at these free, non-ticketed events, showing support to the performers. A great chance to enjoy some live local music in a relaxed and informal setting.

Dates currently planned are:

  • Thursday 25 April, 7:30pm – 9:30pm

  • Thursday 30 May, 7:30pm – 9:30pm

  • Thursday 20 June, 7:30pm – 9:30pm

  • Thursday 1 August, 7:30pm – 9:30pm

To secure your spot to perform in advance, please e-mail: [email protected]. Participants are also free to simply show upon the night, if preferred.
