The blockbuster starts with the Earth being threatened by Thor’s evil brother Loki, and Nick Fury, the Director of the international peacekeeping agency S.H.I.E.L.D., is forced to revive the Avengers Initiative. Unfortunately, Earth’s mightiest heroes are neither willing nor able to play nicely or join the team. However needs must, and Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Hulk reluctantly assemble to save humanity and pull the world back from the brink of disaster. The film stars Robert Downey Jr, Samuel L Jackson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth.
