SHETLAND Arts has announced that its annual Hogmanay celebrations in Mareel will be going ahead again this year on Tuesday 31 December.
On offer for this year is an evening concert from Gemma Donald & Shetland Swing, followed by the popular Bells in the Bar event featuring DJ Lyall and DJ Yetti. Both events will showcase local talent as the countdown to 2025 begins!
Hogmanay with Gemma Donald & Shetland Swing
Celebrate the New Year in style with an unforgettable Hogmanay concert featuring the vibrant sounds of Gemma Donald and Shetland Swing. Known for their show-stopping performances and infectious stage presence, Gemma and the band bring together the lively rhythms of Western swing, the heart of country music, and the rich musical heritage of Shetland - all in one foot-stomping celebration. This event always sells out, so don't miss your chance to ring in 2025 with DJs Lyall & Yetti spinning a perfect mix of housey, soulful, disco-laden dancefloor classics. Whether you're into house, disco, or just looking for a fun night out, this is the spot to welcome the new year as we count down to the bells!
