This week we are using a different medium to focus on local artist Gillian Bridle - she is taking over our Instagram feed for the week (30 April - 4 May) - so pop over to @Shetland_Arts on Instagram to see her posts!
In 2016 Gillian moved to Shetland, making the journey in her sailing boat to Scalloway where she now resides. She rents a studio there where she runs her design and illustration business GillyB. Her work includes original paper cut artwork featuring bold Shetland imagery, and these designs used to create prints and contemporary homewares.
Her work can be seen in the ShetlandMade exhibition at Bonhoga Gallery from 31 March - 20 May.
