Vision Mechanics’ new production, Drift, is inspired by Shetland crofter, Betty Mouat. On a beach setting, a soundscape of 9 songs and 9 sculptural installations represent the days she spent adrift at sea.

Drift is on at Skaw Beach, Unst from 10-13 July, as part of Shetland Nature Festival and as part of UnstFest
Open 7am to 12 noon and 2pm-9pm each day apart from 13th July when open 7am to 12 noon only
Admits one person every 5 minutes. Performance lasts 40 minutes. Not suitable for young children. Entry by donation. No pre-booking required.
