Shetland Arts are working with All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre to bring a five metre high giant swing set, two swings, two aerial performers and a sound installation to the George V Playpark on King Harald Street, Lerwick on from Saturday 26 to Tuesday 29 June.

Come and enter the world of The Swings. Watch as aerialists swing, climb, play and perform. Then the Swings are open to experience for the public to come and have a go. Swinging will activate a soundscape full of memories of being on a swing. Feel the rush of air past your face and be inspired by the aerialists with what you can do with a swing!

This is an interactive event for all the family and includes accessible swings. Bookings for a turn on the swings will be available through our website, visitors are also very welcome to turn up on the day and have a go.

The Swings will be in the King George V Playpark in Lerwick from Saturday 26 – Tuesday 29 June. Performances will take place daily at 12pm, 1pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm, lasting for 15 minutes.
