Public opening of Four Journeys From Blue on Fri 26 April, Bonhoga Gallery

Everyone is invited to attend the free public exhibition opening of Four Journeys From Blue on Friday 26 April, 6-8pm, at Bonhoga Gallery.

Four Journeys From Blue is an exhibition by the winners of The Shetland Open 2012 – Ria Moncrieff, Rachel Ross Smith, Diane Garrick, and Gail Harvey. With the opportunity to have their own show at Bonhoga the four artists have come together to create a starting point for their show using film, which will run in the stairwell.

This is a platform for work exploring the theme of journeys and the colour and mood of blue. Each artist brings her own style and experience to the show in a variety of media.

The Lower Gallery will display the Bairns’ Open – an open exhibition of wall-based work for those from P1-S6, and the Craft Cabinet will feature a selection of UK crafts.
