Nashville-Inspired John Goldie Trio to Visit Mareel in March
The John Goldie Trio is due to perform in Mareel on Saturday 9 March, featuring Adam Bulley on mandolin and Chas Mackenzie on slide guitar.
This exciting and virtuosic trio was formed to perform music written during the lockdown and is influenced by old-timey Bluegrass and the Nashville scene, past and present. The songs are an eclectic mix of breakneck speed picking, heartfelt ballads, and some quirky takes on old favourites.
Throw in some on-stage banter and we’re all set for an unforgettable evening of entertainment!
See below a video of John Goldie and Adam Bulley (as well as Gaven Largent) playing Chasin’ Yer Tail, one of the songs written during lockdown, for a taste of what’s to come!
Tickets for The John Goldie Trio cost £25 and are available to purchase online here, in-person at the Box Office in Mareel, or by calling on 01595 745 500 during opening hours of 10am-9pm, Tuesday – Sunday.
