Whalsay. World Workshop No. 1
We were in Whalsay School last Wednesday working with P6+7 and S1,2 and 3 making artwork for The Art World.
They were inspired by words from SANDWICK and UNST. Whalsay pupils had a particularly strong connection to landscape and fishing – they interpreted the words from SANDWICK AND UNST into images and sculptures from the land and sea (plus some amazing extras – look at that laptop!)
The world is starting to grow…
