Bonhoga Refurbishment: September Update
Read the latest update on Bonhoga's refurbishment, following our visit last week.
It’s update number five!
Inside, the floors have been laid back down (the warm tone of the wood has really brought back that familiar cosy feeling to the building), the new toilets have been installed and paint work has begun. Outside, much of the scaffolding has now been removed, revealing more of the fantastic work JDC Shetland has done to the outer walls and roof.

“As a recent university graduate, I’m incredibly grateful to Shetland Arts for offering me such a valuable opportunity and the chance to be part of this unique project. I’m excited to see where this role will take both me and Bonhoga!”
Bonhoga’s refurbishment is being led by née gibson architects and supported by funding from the Shetland Charitable Trust Capital Grants Scheme.
Stay tuned for the next update in October!
