Bonhoga Gallery

Craft, coffee and conversation in a former mill

Currently closed for refurbishment.

Bonhoga is our welcoming gallery, shop and cafe, set in a beautifully converted mill. Our exhibitions and shop collections showcase the best in art, craft and design from around the world – shining a particular spotlight on artists with strong Shetland connections.

In its former lives, the building was a meal barley mill and a butchery and tannery.  Bonhoga is Shetland dialect for ‘my spiritual home’ – a nod to this long-standing role in the community.
