When walking into Mareel, many of you are greeted with our chalkboards created by our resident artist Graeme Taylor, who has been creating them to advertise our biggest film releases and upcoming events. They have been a source of interest to many of you throughout the 10+ years he’s been making them, and some may have even spotted him hard at work on them in our building.
Graeme is leaving Shetland at the end of October to start a new chapter in his life with new opportunities and artistic avenues to pursue. We wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate the breadth of the work he's done by showcasing a handful of these chalkboards he has done over the years. We hope you enjoy viewing them, and you might even remember seeing them during the time they were on display.
