331 cultural organisations and performing arts venues across Scotland have received a total of £17million in this round of emergency Covid-19 funds from the Scottish Government through Creative Scotland. The Performing Arts Venues Relief Fund (PAVR) is helping venues to remain solvent, return staff from furlough, and enable new artistic commissions from freelance artists.
“It is a great vote of confidence in the work we do that Creative Scotland is continuing to back our vision for how to support the performing arts sector's recovery from the impacts of the pandemic. We will be using this money to build upon the success of the Refresh Now programme we presented in April, more details of our plans will be announced in the next few weeks”.
