One of the most frequent concerns we hear from our surveys & talking to our customers is that our current website is difficult to navigate and doesn’t meet your needs. We’ve listened and are in a position to commit to building a new, user-friendly website that makes it easier to find events, book tickets and engage with our opportunities. Additionally, as Shetland Arts hasn’t rebranded since 2006, we are taking this opportunity to update our brand to reflect better who we are as an organisation today.

Shetland Arts strives to continually evolve and meet the needs of our community and these projects are a vital part of how we deliver our service, improve how we communicate and support our diverse customers, participants and creative practitioners.

We are currently waiting for the outcome of Creative Scotland’s multi-year funding announcement and the Shetland Charitable Trust Large Grant Awards, and that will define the scope of the organisation. Additionally, we have applied for extra funding to cover a proportion of the project. Our aim is to enhance how we communicate and improve user experiences.

We are now inviting creative agencies and digital developers to tender for both the website & the rebrand projects. These are exciting opportunities for talented, creative professionals to help us create an intuitive, accessible digital platform and identity that better serves the needs of the Shetland community.
