Join artist Amy Gear for a five-week block of informal evening sessions exploring the work of this year's Turner Prize nominees. Decode the mystery that is Contemporary British Art, exploring the work that has been shortlisted for this prestigious national prize.

Each week Amy will focus on the work of one of the shortlisted artists and the final session on 5 December will coincide with the live TV screening of the award ceremony.

Sessions will take place on Monday evenings at 7pm, starting on 7 November. Each will last two hours with a break, and are suitable for anyone – no previous knowledge or expert vocabulary is required!

Sessions through November will take place in the Green Room at Mareel, with the final session on 5 December in Mareel’s Screen 2.
