Calling all young artists – the Bairns’ Open 2017 is looking for entries!

Shetland Arts are inviting submissions from young artists of school age (P1 to S6) for this year’s Bairns’ Open art exhibition, held at Bonhoga Gallery from 29 April to 11 June.

Work must be 2-dimensional, no bigger than A3, unframed and can be in any medium. This year the theme is Lines, which can be interpreted in any way you like – imaginatively, creatively, wildly! An ideal project for the Easter holidays!

Entries should be submitted to either Mareel or Bonhoga by Thursday 20 April.

The work will be judged and two prizes will be awarded at the opening of the show, at 6.30pm on 28 April.
