A rare chance to see a really talented group of Shetland classical musicians playing a programme of works by J.S. Bach will be offered on Tueday 15th June at 7.30pm at St Columba's Kirk in Lerwick. Featuring Maggie Adamson, Chapman Cheng, Alan Gifford and Annalie Irvine on violin, Deirdre Hayward on harpsichord, Donald MacDonald on cello and Neil Morris on flute, the programme (conducted by Nigel Hayward)  includes much loved favourites - the Double Violin Concerto, Air on a G String and Brandenburg Concerto No 5. With tickets at the bargain price of £7 and £4 concessions, all the proceeds will go to support the school community of Bongo in Ghana, a project initiated by Peter Davis and the late Linda Davis whilst they were on a VSO scheme there.
